Microsoft Eyeing Ad Yield Management Solutions Provider, Raft

Microsoft announced that it is planning to buy Rapt Inc., an advertising yield management solution for digital media publishers. Microsoft is planning to integrate Rapt and its technology and information and advisory services offerings, to Atlas Publisher Suite of its Advertiser and Publisher Solutions Group. At first look Topicle may seem to be a new vertical search engine. But taking a closer look would reveal that it is just a repackaged search engine utilizing Google Custom Search. EU Regulators Close to Granting Google's Acquisition of Double-Click

Looks like the European Union is set to allow Google's $3.1 billion acquisition of Double-Click as speculators have predicted. The EU ruling might even come earlier than the April 2 deadline to as early as next week. Greg Sterling of Sterling Market Intelligence said in a Bloomberg report that "the deal will ultimately go through."
