Yahoo! Bookmarks down for maintenance - for three months!

Yahoo! stops online bookmark users from adding new pages for the next three months! Yahoo! recently sold the renowned bookmarking service delicious.com, in an effort to refocus the company. Although we found it strange that they decided to give up a good trademark and wide user base like delicious, we agreed that it makes sense to keep one online bookmarking service only. Yahoo! Bookmarks is a decent offering, although it does not have the same social feel as delicious.

Google gives Norwegian police access to terrorist's email

Google is now offering Norwegian police access to Anders Behring Breivik's gmail account. The Norwegian newspaper Dagens Næringsliv reports that the country director of Google Norway, Jan Grønbech, contacted Norwegian police after the terrorist attack, offering them assistance. According to Grønbech, the police will follow up on the offer, but they have not asked for the data yet.
